I went last Friday night with a small group. It was crowded, but we had reservations. We were seated immediately. The longest wait was to place our initial order. However, the ambience was nice for a date or time with friends/family, and the staff was kind. It was not so loud that you could not talk. We were looking for both vegetarian and meat dishes and Mali had plenty of choices. We order Tom kha soup, eggplant with basil, vegetable massaman, spicy basil chicken and massaman's own. Everyone was pleased with their dishes. The vegetable massaman had a sweet flavor to balance the curry that was delightful. All the dishes were made with fresh ingredients. We ordered the ginger tea, and if you love ginger you will be going back just for this! Mali was a treat.

The spicy garlic entree is absolutely AMAZING! It's definitely my go-to dish, and the sushi rolls are delicious. I have zero complaints about the food, and the staff is always super friendly! As a sushi enthusiast, I do wish the sushi rolls were priced at the lunch rate all day, since they can get a bit pricey after lunch. But honestly, it's still one of my favorite spots to visit in the neighborhood!

This is a great place to go and enjoy family and friends while tasting delicious Thai food dishes. Their sushi is delicious, however it took a little while to have it made and delivered to our table. The atmosphere is comfortable and relaxed while the staff attempt to do their very best to achieve a very good dining experience. However may need to be reminded. Reservations are recommended to be sure to be seated in a timely manner. Definitely worth trying to satisfy your Thai food desires.

Steep stairs and a tight table layout make navigating the dining room challenging. Once you're at your table, none of this matters. The freshly prepared food is nuanced with balanced flavors. The portions are generous, colorful, and arrive hot. The spice indicator on the menu is accurate. The drinks are layered with enticing combinations.

Long story short: if you love authentic Thai food, your palate will thank you for eating at this charming, unassuming neighborhood restaurant. The food is exactly as it should be- flavorful without being overbearing and prepared skillfully. The vegetables are cooked to perfection, the noodles are chewy and delicious, and the ground chicken is divine. Our party of three arrived for lunch, and had the Pad Thai, Krapow Gai, Green Curry, and the Pad Kee Mao.

This was my first time visiting. My daughter, her Mom and I met for dinner to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The food, service, and atmosphere was great. Parking is free with plenty space depending on the time you arrive. The food was delicious and perfectly seasoned with just enough, pepper , to make my scalp tingle without the waterfall effect . I will definitely visit again.

Best Thai food in Atlanta, by far…. We used to visit every couple weeks when we lived in walking distance, but now the ‘burbs drive makes it a special treat. No change in food quality or service.. Fresh basil rolls are amazing.. they are a must if you like fresh basil. the flavor balance of every dish we’ve had here has been spot on. For this visit we enjoyed the Boatman seafood and the Rainbow chicken entrees. While we were both in the mood for a curry, we weren’t disappointed in the least by those two choices. Two fantastic dishes.. ofcourse we did get the Masaman chicken to go for Sunday leftovers!

This evening I partook of a repast at this establishment devoted to the preparation of Thai cookery, and found the dishes, on the whole, executed with considerable fidelity. One lamentable deficiency, however, was the paucity of soups upon the bill of fare; although, upon occasion, the restorative properties of a well-brewed broth alas could be enjoyed. The cocktails proved themselves a curious lottery: at times most felicitous to the tongue, at others bordering upon the medicinal, as though contrived more for experiment than for pleasure. Still, the house does offer a patio most agreeable to the constitution, and the attendants rendered their service with a civility and attentiveness worthy of commendation. I should gladly return to indulge once more in the provisions of the kitchen; yet, as for their libations, I may henceforth approach them with a certain reserve. It is, after all, one matter to dine, and quite another to gamble with one’s glass.

During my own visit to Mali, I was impressed by the fresh ingredients and bold flavors in each dish. The Thai Basil fried rice with chicken was a standout, packed with large chunks of flavorful chicken. The shrimp tempura roll was a delight, and the spring rolls were a nice touch. While the peanut sauce wasn't to my personal taste, the overall dining experience was top-notch.
